Special Education Support & Therapeutic Activities

At our center, we provide inclusive and individualized learning support for children with diverse needs, including:

  • Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
  •  Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Speech & Language Delays
  • Developmental Delays

Our goal is to bridge learning gaps through multisensory, hands-on, and therapeutic interventions that align with each child's developmental level and learning style.

Support for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)

1. Dyslexia – Difficulty with Reading & Language Processing

What We Do:

  • Assistive Tools: Use of audiobooks, text-to-speech software, and reading pens to reduce cognitive load and support independent reading.
  • Blending Boards: Help children practice phoneme blending for improved word decoding
  • Sand Writing: Children trace letters in sand to connect touch with sound and symbol, reinforcing memory.
  • Line Readers & Highlighters: Tools to visually guide reading lines, improving focus and word tracking.

Outcome: Improves reading fluency, phonemic awareness, and comprehension by using multiple sensory channels.

2. Dyscalculia – Difficulty Understanding Numbers & Math

What We Do:

  • Visual Aids: Colorful charts, number lines, and visual representations of math concepts.
  • Manipulatives: Real-world objects like blocks, beads, and coins to help children visualize abstract concepts like addition or division.
  • Multisensory Approach: Combines touch, movement, and visuals—for example, counting while clapping or hopping.
  • Number Sense Games: Simple math games to build foundational concepts.
  • Age-Appropriate Math Games: Used to build engagement and confidence.

Outcome: Children grasp core math concepts through play, reducing fear and frustration associated with numbers.

3. Dysgraphia – Difficulty with Writing Skills

What We Do:

  • Fine-Motor Skill Development: Activities like cutting, threading, pegboards, and finger exercises.
  • Sand & Clay Writing: Builds finger strength and spatial awareness.
  • Cross-Body Exercises: Improves coordination between both brain hemispheres for smoother writing.
  • Paper & Pen Variety: Experimenting with different textures to find what's comfortable.
  • Encouraging Oral Expression: Helps children articulate ideas before writing, reducing cognitive load.
  • Alternative Tools: Pencil grips, slant boards, or digital writing aids.

Outcome: Improves handwriting, sentence construction, and writing fluency while reducing stress.
